The Study Notes associated with this page have been made available with the kind permission of Film Education, and offer suggestions for activites both before and after viewing the film.
Chariots of Fire tells the story of two very different men who compete as runners in the 1924 Paris Olympics. Their motives are noble. Their commitment is total. Their integrity is unquestionable. They will both make personal sacrifices to achieve their goals.
These Study Notes offer teachers ideas for examining the film Chariots of Fire. We also offer some suggestions as to how the notes could be adapted to be used with students of English at a variety of levels (see below trailer for links).
